Springbox Launches New Lollapalooza Music Festival Website
Austin, TX — Apr 1, 2005
After producing its third successful Austin City Limits Music Festival, Capital Sports & Entertainment has partnered with Charles Attal Presents to produce Lollapalooza 2005, held in Chicago. Springbox, CSE’s interactive marketing firm of record, was commissioned to bring Lollapalooza to life on the web with an unconventional, cutting-edge website and e-mail marketing program
Working with CSE on Lollapalooza was a fun project and a great creative opportunity,” commented Springbox art director Chris Mayfield. “Without any boundaries, we were able to explore applying unique and innovative navigations to an eye-catching and viewer-engaging site.”
“Springbox has captured the modern yet artful spirit of the Lollapalooza brand in this web design,” said David Mider, creative director at CSE. “The site successfully fulfills aesthetic as well as marketing and communications objectives with action-packed pages full of easily navigable content. Springbox mixes strong creative and sound marketing in this site as well as the Austin City Limits site they designed.”
Lollapalooza will be held in Chicago’s Grant Park on July 23 and 24. A special ticket presale for the festival sold out within an hour of their release online April 7. Regular priced tickets will go on sale at www.lollapalooza.com April 22 when the talent lineup is released.
