Springbox Strengthens Leadership Base in Austin and LA
Austin, TX — Apr 7, 2008
In a well-calibrated move, leading interactive marketing agency Springbox has promoted Aaron Bundschuh, previously Account Director at its Austin headquarters, to Account Director of the agency’s LA office. Springbox Account Supervisor Marili Cantu will take over for Bundschuh as Account Director at the agency’s Austin location.
Bundschuh and Cantu have long histories of success at Springbox, both as team leaders and as revenue generators, making the decision to reorganize an intuitive one. As Account Director at Springbox Austin, Bundschuh led growth for such Fortune 500 accounts as AMD and Walt Disney. Bundschuh also helped the agency acquire several blue-chip clients, including Siemens, PayPal and Toshiba. In LA, Bundschuh will be in charge of expanding the office’s core team as well as its suite of service offerings. Cantu, a dedicated Account Supervisor with years of experience, has overseen the day-to-day progress of Bundschuh’s accounts throughout her tenure at the agency.
Recent organizational changes at Springbox are part of a cohesive long-term strategy to strengthen its leadership base, fully integrate its service offerings between offices and provide its clients with the best possible care. Home to a large group of creative, development and account service professionals, Springbox Austin serves as the agency’s operational hub. In contrast, Springbox LA has been primarily executional in focus, with a talented and nimble team providing award-winning digital assets for its own impressive client roster.
Bundschuh looks forward to the chance to strengthen the Austin-LA relationship. “I couldn’t be more excited about it,” says Bundschuh of the opportunity. “This move sets the stage for us to generate some real synergy between offices, which will ultimately enable Springbox to better serve our clients with truly next-level creative solutions. And with a rock star like Marili taking the reins in Austin, I’m 100 percent confident in our ability to make it work.”
The “Bundschuh-Cantu Switcheroo” — as Springboxers fondly refer to the move — signals yet another triumph for the rapidly growing interactive agency. In October of 2007, Springbox was acquired by Enliven Corporation, a leading internet technology company. Soon thereafter, Springbox assimilated Austin-based marketing firm Makos into its fold, adding more skilled professionals to its already talented team. Then, in January of 2008, Springbox announced the opening of its LA office — one specializing in premium rich media creation, digital photography and 3D imaging.
